Turkish Get-up

We like this movement because it is great for total body strength and stability. However, I want to remind our members a couple of tips with this exercise.

Straight wrist and locked elbow – I’ve seen some people do this movement and although they start with elbows straight and locked out, at some point they start bending their elbow or wrists. They should be kept straight.

Eye on the kettlebell – This one is for safety folks. The balance is tough enough as it is. Keep your eye on the kettlebell at all times. You don’t want the kettlebell dropping on your face

There are more tips for doing this exercise which I won’t go into here, but these are the two I want to see improved on.

D) “DT” Five rounds for time of:

12 Deadlifts

9 Hang power clean,

6 Push jerks
