Have you ever been through a workout where you started it and near the end you start to think “there is no way I can finish”, or “there is no way I can do one more round”?  Our workouts at Shinobi can be challenging, and if you’ve been training with us for a while now you may have thought this to yourself.

However, this is the time in the workout that gets interesting.  I’ve seen it many times before.  Someone thinks they can’t do anymore, and start to quit.  But then something changes.  They take a moment to compose themselves and continues on despite how difficult may be.  This is the moment that makes all the difference.  You stop merely “exercising” but start “training”.  You start training your body to be stronger.  You start training your mind to be more confident.  You throw all your negative thoughts out the window.  As a coach, these are the moments I look forward to the most from my athletes.

Many times you might start off feeling doubtful and scared, but I promise you if you don’t quit you will be rewarded.  Both inside the gym and in life.
